FCP 7 / 10.6.2 / Print to Video not working
All of the settings are correct...at least there is something that is missing.
I go to print to video...I see the timeline flash on screen as it's prepping to go to the print to video main screen. I hit okay, goes to black screen and ready to record. I hit okay, does 10 of black and then only the audio appears on the monitor, but no image? I've tried different ports on the computer, a different deck, cables, it's something that is going on within Final Cut, but I can't figure it out. The timeline is set to unlimited RT...anything in user preferences? Outputting to NTSC sequence Any thoughts? |

So I figured out what was going on. The project was shot in 24p, so I selected the sequence to be NTSC 24p. For some reason, the deck/camera (XL2) wouldn't play back in 24p. I created a new NTSC 30p sequence and it works fine. Anyone know why this is? Thanks for the info!
