Re-link audio to a Clip
Is there a trick to re-connecting the audio to a clip in the timeline?
I moved several clips into the timeline with the audio locked down. Originally was going to have just the voice over and music playing. Now I want to add the audio of the clip back for more ambiance. Thanks, Carlos |

Well I figured it out myself. But just in case you ever need to do it here is the procedure:
In the timeline, double click the clip to bring it into the viewer. Once in the viewer press the "f" key twice (match frame) and you will see the a1 and a2 tabs re-appear next to the video tab. Make sure your player head is at the start of that same clip in your time line, select the tracts you want the audio to target and lock out the rest so they don't get bumped and drag the clip from the viewer to the overwrite box in the canvas. The clip will be replaced in the time line with the original audio. |
