Editing time base change/ cropped footage- help!
I'm using FCP 6.0.6. I have SD footage shot at 24p captured via intensity pro as NTSC, then TC back to 24p. I set all of my sequences up with 24fps editing base.
Now some of my sequences have arbitrarily converted to 23.98fps and I cannot change them back. Also, for some ridiculous reason Final Cut has decided to crop and zoom certain clips on the canvas/timeline, though in the viewer they appear correctly. I set up a new sequence with the same settings and dropped the clip onto the timeline and everything was correctly proportioned, so it's not the clip- it's something to do with the sequence. I trashed my prefs to try to correct these issues but it didn't change anything. Anyone know why Final Cut would change these things on me without my telling it to, or how to fix it?
