Matrox MXO 1 Equivalent on the PC side?

Looking for another hardware scan converter. Matrox is flawless in this role but developers are always giving me PC content. Anyone know of Hardware that supports HD-SDI out as a scan converter?

Thanks,
-C

Well you could use "Convert DVI" which is the PC version of the MXO1 (Note: its a scan convertor only ie it has no mastering mode, only presentation mode)

Spot on Andy! I was trying to give my money to another company but looks like Matrox is about to get another 1K. Stand alone mode sounds incredible.

It is disparaging to hear that Matrox has pushed the release date 3 times. The device was supposed to ship in November '09... Last update - ship date was end of January '10...

Not sure if it is reliable that this product will be available soon... or before NAB at least.

Thanks Andy!

Thought I'd add that the only real difference between this and the MXO 1 (aside from the fact that it is PC based), is that it has an analog audio embedder on the SDI. This is extremely useful and something sorely missed from the MXO 1.

Hey Chris

Guess the boat may have sailed by now, but I heard that the Convert DVI product launch is due imminently, or to quote a reliable source "in a matter of days not weeks."

Cheers
Andy
