14 new iMac's
Being a teacher is nice once in a while...especially when 14 brand new iMac's showed up today. Here's my scenario...
Getting FCP and CS4 (site license for both programs) Can I get one iMac loaded the way I want and all the programs installed like I want...and then clone the hard drive on an external hard drive and use that to copy to the other 13 iMac's? This would save me a whole lot of time if it is possible. Suggestions and solutions would be awesome. (and it would be great to have a cloned image to redo the machines at the end of each semester) Thanks for reading Jason |

Assuming they have firewire they should be able to do firewire target disk mode. Then you could use something like Carbon Copy Cloner to image a completely setup machine to a disk image (via a laptop or one of the other machines) and then blow that disk image into the other 14 machines one by one.
