TIF files stopped importing
I've used TIF images with alpha channels regularly in Final Cut Pro 7, but for some odd reason FCP no longer recognizes TIF files when I try to import them. I don't think I changed anything in Photoshop CS3 or Final Cut. The files I've already imported still work fine, but any new ones I bring in show up a unrecognized and won't import.
Am I missing something really simple? |

Make sure that they are RGB and not in layers otherwise convert them to psd.

I second the "make sure they are RGB" statement. I had issues for a while until I realized I couldn't use grayscale TIFFS as Alpha Masks...

I'll check that...
Thanks. I usually bring them down to one layer but rarely check to see if they're RGB. They might be CMYK, and coming from this client they could've changed that without mentioning it.
