File Attribute Mismatch
I am working on a project in FCP with another guy that lives in LA (I'm in Houston). I have 2 HDs with the footage on it, 1 for me and 1 that I mirrored that I sent him.
He just emailed me a FCP file where he is making bins and helping me micro edit the film. When I open his FCP project file, and try to reconnect the files, I get this pop up message saying "File Attribute Mismatch". If I click continue it lets me connect them and everything works fine BUT I want to make sure this "error" wont mess me up down the road. Here is a screen shot of the message: http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/s...llow/error.jpg Closer pic of the message: http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/s...low/closer.jpg I called him and we checked the frame rate, etc... and all of our settings look the same. Anyone know what could be causing this? |

I'm going to ASSUME (and we know what THAT word means...) that it's referring to the LOGICAL path names (it's a different drive mounted on a different computer) and that's what's causing the "problem".
If relinking is working, you SHOULD be ok.
