Flickering freeze frame in FCXpress
Hi all,
I finished off a project in FCXpress with a freeze frame image, exported it in Quicktime (using the 'none' setting in the codec list) and burnt to DVD in iDVD. When I play the DVD the freeze frame flickers. I read somewhere this type of thing could be due to the still image jumping between fields so I then de-interlaced it on the timeline but it still occurs. Can anyone explain? Cheers |

Double check your de-interlacing & be sure you've rendered it before your export. I had exact same situation with FCE and freeze frames. Everything looked fine until I burned it to DVD. Even playing the finished movie in Quicktime looked good. No visible problem until I created the DVD.
I used FCE's de-interlacer & the problem went away! |
