How do I view date and time on FCP?
I'm shooting with a Sony V1 which records date/time data to tape. Can I view the date/time info within FCP(6)? If so where do I go to switch it on? Thanks.

Are you talking time of day timecode? Or some other sort of meta data?

I'm talking date and time of day footage was shot as opposed to timecode.

Sony prosumer cameras record data to the Data Track such as date, time, aperture, shutter, gain, white balance switch position (NOT actual temp) etc.
To the best of my knowledge, FCP doesn't have a way to address this directly.

If you have a Windows virtualisation package like VMWare Fusion you could try running DVMP Pro in it.
