Sweet..
Starting to love this forum... i finish uni in May and am going to make small films with my camera just to get the hang of it then, am not planning on leaving for my expeditions for about a year so hopefully iMove will only improve further :) Thanks again, you have talked me into iMovie :)

I would suggest you snag iMovie 6HD before apple pulls the plug on that site. You will like the timeline allot better in 6 than in the higher ones. One note: if your using AVCHD, you MUST import into iMovie 8 or 9, then point 6 to where it was saved. It still gets converted to AIC but 6 will not do this. Works like a charm.
