Distortion music when exporting movie from FCP7
Hi all,
Just upgraded to Snow Leopard and new FCS3, everything worked as expected until export to movie file. Captured footage from EX3 by using Log & Transfer, edited in FCP7, added few mp3 songs, then exported to QT using Prores. Everything worked fine except places where I placed mp3 music (note: I lowered the volume to -9db to match with footage's sound). Searched several forums for solution, but couldn't find any specific answer. The problem is that not happens to all mp3, several songs caused problem and these song were using before in FCS2 Leopard without any problems. Wondering if you guys have same issue and how to work around with this issue. Appreciate your help in advance! |

Well since no one else has replied...
FCP does not do compressed audio. Use iTunes to convert your mp3 to an AIFF and work with that to see if that solves your problem. |

That's actually the sound of the artists' lawyers trying to call you about licensing the copywritten music on those MP3s....
