Progressive Downlad Issues with Internet Explorer
Im using Amazon S3 to stream (progressive download) some demo footage. The mov files load/buffer and play great when using Chrome and Safari. Internet Explorer tries to download the entire clip before playing. (I haven’t checked on Firefox) This takes forever. I have triple checked all the compressor settings and I have the files set up for fast start. Is there a fix for this issue or am I just missing a setting somewhere.
I just downloaded firefox and it loads and plays with no issues. Im testing this on my work computer because I dont use IE on my mac at home. My work computer is a windows XP machine running the most recent version of IE 8. Last edited by Ryan McBride; October 5th, 2009 at 11:41 AM. |
