Question about the 'automatically rebuild' RAID 1 feature...

Hello,

question: if you make a RAID 1 set with the Disc Utility, and choose the option 'automatically rebuild RAID', if I then for instance make a recording live to the laptop in RAID 1, but afterwards I only use one of the drives to edit on seperately...

If I later put the 2 discs together again, will the software put all the new footage or files (FCP projects, etc. ....) on the second unused disc or not?

Thanks and best regards,
