graphic card

Hi all,
what kind of graphic card do I need for editing with fcp?
I mean, is the radeon 64mb good enough or do I definitely need the 128?

Depends on what you will be editing. A lot of folks edit DV on notebooks & even Mac Mini's with just 32MB video RAM. I create DVDs from digital stills and widescreen camcorder footage with a Mac Mini. No problems & the results are outstanding.

I wouldn't want to try editing a feature with 5 video and 14 audio tracks, and of course HD is beyond my system's capabilities. But I have edited a 14 minute sequence with 3 video and 4 audio tracks. Used deinterlace filters, color correction and basic transitions. All on a Mini with 512MB RAM, 32MB video RAM.
