Final Cut 5.1.4 / Snow Leopard / Can no longer import P2 video
I just installed snow leopard and now final cut will not import P2 footage. I can preview the video in the import window, but get a Error: No data after a few seconds after putting the file in the queue.
Anyone have any thoughts? |

How is your P2 getting on your computer? Keep in mind that Snow Leopard did away with a core extension having to do with PCI bus support (ie - dual adapter no longer works without this driver) so I'd copy the lastclip.txt and contents folder to a local drive before importing.
Second, do you have an alternate way to mux your video? A laptop running 10.5.8 perhaps? The easiest way would be to use a known working install, mux your QuickTimes and drag them to your Snow Leopard system. -C |

I already have the P2 off-loaded onto the hard dirve via USB from the camera so that's not an issue.
Good thoughts on the import from a different computer. I may have to go that route as oppose to purchasing new Final Cut software. |
