DVD+R New G5??
Hey Guys
Just a quickie question here.. i was browsing the apple site quite diligently and with much eagerness, soaking in the new G5's and all it's improvements- when i read about the superdrive- now it just may be my ignorance in play here but i was under the impression that with the last G5's and G4's, we've been burning with DvD-R's.. these new ones are stating Dvd+R's... which is all fine and dandy, but does that basically mean i'm going to have to chuck away my 80+ spindle of Dvd-R's if (when, depending on gf's eye glare) i make a new G5 purchase? i await thy words of wisdom..

I believe it still records DVD-R's so no need to toss your spindle.
However, I believe the new dual layer dvd's are all DVD+R? Please tell me if I am wrong on this. Dean |

It does both + or - but only does Dual-Layer disks as DVD+R/DL
Keep the DVD-R disks if you like. |

*nods* thanks guys, much appreciate the help - now on to the hard part- convincing the gf that the G5 would be much more valuable than a silly ring... 8-|
