Mac problems occurring
(Sorry if this is miss posted)
I'm having mac trouble. When attempting to move files from one drive to another or to cd to burn I keep getting an error message saying the operation can occur (error message -42). When I try to empty the trash, I get another message saying the operation can't occur. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike |

I've seen the trash problem as the result of a crash which left some files open and therefore the warning that they are in use. You can force the trash to empty by holding down Apple+Option while choosing the empty trash command.
But it sounds like there might be some disk problems - is it possible that your drive is full? Does a restart help? |
