Capture problem
I have FCP 3, OS X on a G4 laptop.
A few minutes after capturing one clip I tried to capture another and received an error message telling me "an error occurred finding one or more of the specified volumes. Verify that both audio and video scratch disks are set in the preferences". I checked, same as before. The only difference was I switched cameras. But when I went back to the first, same message. Any ideas? thanks, elmer lang |

I'm not a mac user but it sounds like it cannot find your harddisk or the
volumes on it. Perhaps it is corrupted or your harddisk is having problems? Is there a tool in Mac OS to check the disk for errors?

Yeah, I checked disk preferences, didn't do nothing at the time, but like a 24-hour cold, the problem came and went and who knows why. Things are fine once again.
