FCP7 ProRes 422 Codec Transcode Error
After upgrading to FCP7, I've been getting some interesting pink highlights with ANY codec I export from a ProRes source. The material is 23.98 422 (see screenshot).
Has anyone else experienced this yet? The only possible solve is to take the ProRes source and encoded it uncompressed 8-bit, although these create monstrous file sizes. The codec works as expected with everything else. Thanks for looking, -C |

I would put in a trouble ticket with Apple Pro Apps tech support; there seems to be several issues cropping up with ProRes in FCP 7 and the only way it's going to get resolved is with Apple getting on-board with a fix.
Let us know if they offer a solution. |

The fix was in the "Details Level" under Frame Controls.
It needs to be set to "0". (see attached) Hope this helps someone else. -C |
