Capturing Qestion. Please advise.
I want to take footage from a DVD. Is there anyway to do this on my mac? Thanks in advance for your help.

So far the only way I've done it is to play it back with a player and then capture it through the player's analog outputs.
And that's only if it's not copy protected. I wanted to grab a clip out of Cast Away and put a tourist walking by in the background of the deserted island but there was no way to get a usable signal out of it, not even for the 10 seconds of experimental material I wanted to mess with.
