question about toast

have xl2 and power book g4 with finalcut xpress . just put ilife 5 to make dvd in 16x9 .but it dose a crappy job .so i added toast titanium very nice . works real good . here is my question . i have been using 60i cause fpx dose not handle 24p . but in toast i can copy dirrect to disc in 24p and it is fantastic . is there any way to edit the 24p you know add titles trans music ecc . in toast without loosing 24p .thanks dp

For what you want to do, if you don't want to spend $500 on DVD SP 3, I'd suggest looking for someone selling DVD SP 2 and get that for cheap. I don't have version 2, so can anyone say whether it supports 24p? I would think it does...

Well, the H264/AVC won't affect how you encode normal DVDs, but NAB is just around the corner right? Who knows what goodies will be on display?

Yeah, its rumored to be Golden Mastered and starting duplication any day now... Can't wait for h264/AVC in QT for distributing web video!
