FCP4 vs. FCPHD Cross Dissolve
Any reason why FCPHD's Cross Disolve is worse than FCP4's?
On FCP4 (I have) the cross dissolve is smooth, but on FCPHD's (my friends) the Cross Dissolve has that weird framerate thing going on, it looks atrocious, unsuable. Is there anyway to make it look better, or any substitute? And is there a way to use FCP4's dissolve in FCPHD? We are both using reg SD video, off minidv cam.

No, there is no reason that I know of why they are different other than your playback settings are different or you are viewing itr in the viewer at 100% or more.

On his FCPHD he had the system settings of playback on default, while mine were all on the highest setting so I didn't have to render the preview clip (green bar) to view in full quality.
