Audio and Final Cut Pro
My microphone plugged into my camera only records in Mono.
This means that when I upload the footage into FCP I only need the one audio track. Is it possible to delete one of them? They seem to be locked together and I'd like to just keep the right ear, and delete the left all together. Possible? |

You have two choices:
1) Select clip and type "Command-L" to unlock the audio from the video. Click on the audio track you want to delete and type Delete. (this is all available in the Modify menu - specifically "Link" and "Stereo Pair") 2) Hold down the Option key, click on the audio track and type Delete to delete the audio track.
