Compressor-DVD Studio Video and Audio do not line up.
I exported my movie from FCP using Compressor into Best 90 Min DVD along with audio. Now when i took those files and set them into DVD studio pro the audio starts off right on mark. As you get longer into the movie it gets worse and worse. Its as if Compressor shortened the video or lengthened the audio by a second or two. At the end of the timeline in DVD studio pro the audio hangs past video by a good amount. what am i doing wrong?

I've had this happen to me before. A couple of thoughts.
First in DVDSP click on each asset in the track viewer. The M2V and the AC3 will give you a total duration. These MUST match. Secondly, I've had issues when using AIFF-C in DVDSP. I always try and encode AC3 (I did see you used best 90 - that default is AC3 but check anyway). Lastly, make sure you original source is synced throughout in FCP timeline. Another thought is to export a QuickTime reference file from your sequence, close FCP and run Compressor alone to encode. The will bypass frame renders (that counter that happens when using FCP5 and 6). My other thoughts are on frame-rate discrepancies and mixing formats (such as H.264 with DVCPRO-HD). Hope this helps, -C |

like drew said do the obvious make sure video assets are the same length, related to this, if your re-encoding a movie already imported into DVDSP the length in the timeline doesn't get updated correctly. I always delete and re-add the asset back into the timeline.
