Timeline/playbar scrolling question
OK,
During my time using Premier Pro (WinPC), I noticed that while playing a clip/sequence and watching the timeline view, it would systematically change to the next section of sequence once the playbar got to the far right side of the screen (assuming it was a long clip/sequence). Now I have been learning and using FCP6 on a MacPro and I've not found a way to get this to work in FCP6. Is this a function that is available? Is there a work around? Thanks in advance. sadly its not an option in FCP ... one of those feature requests that has gone unanswered :/
what you can do though, is scroll the timeline yourself, which works during playback without needing to stop the play head. if you have mighty mouse you can simply roll the track ball to the left/right to scroll the timeline accordingly. if you have a scroll wheel mouse then just hold shift while scrolling to scroll the timeline |
