I think $2500 would be a small price to pay to gain back the speed needed to turn something around quickly. In my case, my 13 minute project could have been played off to blu-ray and probably finalized in less than an hour. That would have been AWESOME.

But as usual the greedy recording industry has screwed it up for us again....

Thanks for correcting my Shaun. I forgot that SDI is a digital signal.
