Capturing NDF timecode
On final cut pro,
How should I go about capturing footage from a tape that changes in timecord from drop frame to non drop frame? capture now? |

Capture up to about a second before the time code changes. Resume capturing about 5 seconds after the time code change. If you need the footage right around the time code change area, you might need to change Device Control to non-controllable device and run the tape manually while you capture.

I'm going to need the footage around the timecode change. On FCP, how do you change capture settings to non-controllable device?
