I now run this equipement : Camera Sony PD150 but upgrading to Full HD (ie: Sony EX-1 or in that range) this year Editing MacBook pro (brand new ... ) and FC-HD 4.5 Should I upgrade now to FCS 2 ? And what would me the major reasons why ... Thank you all ... It's a pleasure to be part of this forum. David |

Welcome to the forums, David.
Since you don't own the EX1 yet there's no reason to jump out and get FCS. By the time you do get the camera FCS3 might be available, it would be better to spend the money on what will be the current version rather than purchase FCS2 and then have it replaced by version 3 in just a few short months. |

Does FCP HD 4.5 run on an intel processor? If not, you're pretty much stuck upgrading to FCS 2. FCS 3 is "supposed" to be coming soon, so you should hold off if you can.

I can use FCHD on a Intel yes ... With just a small "tweek".
FC - Compresser - Live Type run pretty smooth ... Thanks for the input for FCS3 |
