Hi there,

Is it possible to download sound from my old minidic player directly into FCP?

I have searched the forums but not much under mini disc.

Depends on what type of ins and outs you have available. Some MD players can output digital in SP/DIF and EBU format and if a digital input is available, that is one route, or at worse, you can use the line level output to go to the input you'd use if digitising an analogue video source. If it's a portable MD, then you might have at best a light-pipe digital out, or just the headphone out. This will be the worst source, as few have very high quality headphone amps.
