Preping files for Istock and MJPEG
Does anyone know the exact steps to prep SD clips for Istock. I am using FCP 6.0.5
I am trying to make and submit the hi resolution NTSC file for uploading. But I can't even find Motion JPEG or MJPEG as a compression option. And it is what Istock wants. Here are there requirments. Standard Definition - NTSC 29.97fps 720x480 (DV) 720x486 (D1) DV, MJPEG (for interlaced footage) PhotoJPEG (for non-interlaced footage) I have tried submitting a photo JPEG, but that didn't go through. If you have had success with this, could you please list the steps starting with export. Thanks. Alfred |

Open your System Preferances, go to the QuickTime prefs, Advanced tab and enable "Show legacy encoders". The Motion JPEG options will now appear in the list.

Thank you so much. It was that simple, but that hidden too.
Sorry it took so long to get back, I have been busy writing and shooting a lot lately. Alfred Diaz |
