Cineform Neo Scene v1 and FCP6?
I am going with Panny (AVCHD), but I plan to continue editing with FCS2. Hence I need to transcode AVCHD into .mov files. I was wondering if Neo Scene v1 and FCS2 are a good match? I am using Macbook Pro 15" and 4G RAM. Any input appreciated.

Hello,
I will be watching this thread as I have the same question. So far allowing iMovie or FCE to do the transcoding to .MOV has left me very disappointed. I have tried all sorts of options and nothing has given a satisfactory result. Even now I am editing movies on a PC instead using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum which works so much better with AVCHD than any of the Mac applications. |

Why don't you want to use ProRes which ships with FCP?
