imovie help
Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone could help me with a capture problem in imovie.I was wondering if there is anyway to change where my footage is captured to.My computer drive is just about full but I have about 2tb available on my drobo.Any help you can offer would be great! thanks, Ryan

If your DROBO is networked attached, you probably cannot capture it across the network with the speed required. However, if it's USB2.0 or Firewire, it may. I don't have one, never used one so I don't know if it can perform.
As far as the iMovie end goes, on iMovie 7, when you select Import, there's a drop down that lets you select the disk to "Save To". See attached screen shot. |

thanks Les! I wound up using FCP 6 to import.Everyone was saying that they couldn't get their A1's to capture through FCP so I didn't even bother trying until tonight.It worked perfectly.I will however keep your post in mind when I use imovie.Thanks again for your help!
