OS X 10.2.8 reposted
OS X 10.2.8 has been reposted and has had the bugs worked out, apparently. Also, it would seem to add support for DVD+R/W.
Among the enhancements:

If you previously installed 10.2.8, update will show a very small patch to download to fix battery time problem and ethernet problem.

Does the support for DVD+R/W apply to superdrives in powerbooks? And is it only for DVD+R/W?

I'm pretty sure it only supports the drives themselves, and those drives can burn whatever media is compatible with them. The stuff in Powerbooks is all DVD-R I believe.

You're right. I just learned that there's a way of tricking other drives to write to R/W media, but not powerbooks. I was hoping that might change with this upgrade. Thanks for the info.

FCP 4.0.1 is good and is needed as for 10.2.8 either one is iffy as they still have bugs on the user end. It mostly comes down to the way you have the computer configured.
