Kona LHe OR the cheaper way with Intensity
Hi All,
I am kind of learning the tricks and trade associated with monitoring color and also working with XDCam footage (1080p30/1080p24)...Eventually, I am downcoverting this for delivery on SD.....I am just looking at what my options are as far as monitoring color and working with a little effects (optical flow with motion 3 etc)...I use FCP Studio 2 to edit weddings.....yes I know weddings, but it pays the bills =)...any suggestions on what to use 1. AJA Kona LHe + HDTV (would I need a breakout box with this?) or 2. Blackmagic Intensity Pro + HDTV Just going to use it for color correction and some effects on footage in ProRes or Uncompressed format....All Suggestions welcome |

The Apple Cinema displays & FCP scopes are better for color correction than an HDTV, fyi. That said, the Kona LHe works fine for external previews.
