Compressor settings for 720p @ 50fps ? to Pal
I shoot in 720p @ 50fps and edit in this format. When I send to compressor do I need to change anything within compressor to get a SD MPEG?
Or just send to compressor render using 90mins template. I forgot to mention I’m in Pal land 25fps I can’t find the answer to this and was wondering if I need to do anything in compressor just render out? Thanks |

Thought I would bump this again.
What i'm after is do I need to convert the frame rate to another setting within compressor or just render out to SD 25fps Pal. This might seen like a basic question but it's one that I would like to know. Nick |

I shoot at 720P60 and export to DVD by simply applying the Best Quality 90 minute preset that I added after working through the DVDSP4 Apple Certification book. DVDSP looks after temporal and frame compression automatically.

Thanks Shaun,
I'm shooting in 720/50p with shutter off which is not the same as 720p60 or at least I think it's not the same. Because I shoot with 50 frames a second going to SD mpeg pal seems to cause play back to stutter slightly. So i'm wondering do I need to convert 50fps to 25fps for pal. Or just leave it as it is. Thanks Sorry Shaun you are right, I just checked the camera on NTSC and you do have a 720/60p template. Regards |
