Rookie mistake! Sequence setting mishap!

Hello everyone.

I've made a schoolboy error here on a project in FCS2. I hope you can help me out as I've actually come up short with a quickfix.

Editing a project with HD720p25 Footage. Went to edit in Client's office one afternoon so moved project and clips from Mac Pro to Macbook Pro.

On the new computer FCP's Easy Set-up was previously set to DV-PAL and I stupidly forgot to change this so when I created a new sequence to start editing with client it was DV-PAL 720x576.

Proceeded to spend the afternoon piling 1280x720 footage onto the DV-PAL Timeline.

I may be missing something completely obvious here, but when I created a new HDV720p25 Sequence, and copied my timeline edits over the aspect ratio is completely out and clips are obviously not fitting canvas window.

Do i have to re-edit all of these clips or is there an easy way of just getting my edits back in their HD home?

Hope you can help and let me know what i'm doing wrong.

Cheers guys!!

Neil

In the edited sequence, Command A (Select All)
New Sequence with the right settings
In the new sequence, Command V (Paste)

Done.

Edit: May need to Select All in the new sequence, Right click and select Remove Attributes from the contextual menu if your aspect or size is still out of whack.

done!

I had tried the copy/paste route but removing attributes did the job.

Thanks so much for that. Really saved the day there!!

No biggie. Had to re-read your post to realize I had suggested you do what you already had done... Need more coffee...
