Neo HD for Mac
I am a former PC user who have converted to Mac. When on PC I used HD Link and Sony Vegas, captured as HDV and converted via HD-link. I have been away from videoediting for a while but thought that I would pick this hobby up again. On my Mac I use PP CS4 and I have captured some HDV footage from my Sony HVR-Z1U. I captured through PP CS4 as HDV and the resulting file was mpeg. Purchased Neo HD for Mac but the remaster program does not recognise the format.
To make a long story short, is it not possible to capture HDV and have the resulting file remaster to cineform? If I capture as mov and then remaster do I gain anu advantages qualitywise? if Sorry if the questions are stupid but I have tried (but failed) to find the answers. Regards Hans |

You should post this on the CineForm thread of this board.
