What's the work flow for MBP,SXS card into FCP
I feel a bit dumb here but here it goes. I have files from an SXS card, copied from the clip browser onto my scratch drive to a folder. I can’t seem to import these files into FCP. What am I missing?
MBP, EX1,8GB, SXS card, FCS2, There seems to be work flow that I’m not doing correctly, can anyone help? Simon |

It all works straightforward for me. Maybe something in this thread might help you??? no xdcam ex-options in fcp 6.05 - The Digital Video Information Network

Thanks Andy,
I followed your link and within that was a link for the EXCAM download. I still don’t know if what I’m doing is correct but this is my work flow to import from the SXS card into FCP on a MBP. Insert SXS card. open FCP, file, import Sony XDCAM this opens the XDCAM window, select clips to folder and these open in FCP. Hope this is the correct work flow for the EX1? Simon |
