Loading a Second Instance of FCP on a MacBook Pro
I just got a 17" MacBook Pro and would like to load FCS2 on it. I currently have FCP loaded on a Mac Pro, can I legally load (a second) instance of FCS2 on the MacBook Pro?
I know that Adobe allows this and I believe Apple does too, as long as I only use one license at a time. Also any tips or tricks loading FCS2 on a Laptop? This thing sure is sexy... |

Yes you can I have FCP St2 on my macbook pro and my i-mac.
I would just load the program though and not all the content, you could put this on a removable firewire drive and also use it as your scratch disk, I use a lacie rugged 120g drive for portable editing.

Yes, as far as I understand the license you can install the same serial number on multiple computers if you own and use those machines personally.
FCP checks other machines connected to your network when it boots and won't allow you to actually run the app on two machines simultaneously if they have the same serial number.
