FCP exported image not the same as in the timeline
Ok, so I was looking through some old footage I had and decided to try and edit some of it. I was using the 3-way color corrector to do some adjustments. I got it looking better, but whenever I export, even if there is no compression, I get some wildly different results in the video.
Example: Looks ok in Final Cut Pro http://www.talenos.com/pics/Picture%201.png Looks all washed out in the exported clip http://www.talenos.com/pics/Picture%202.png Any idea on what's going on? Like I said, I've tried no compression, and several forms of compression with similar results each time.

Matt
The first image shows your footage in FCP's canvas window, whereas the second shows the exported clip in a Quicktime Player window. They are different apps and display gamma differently. Two things for you to test. 1) reimport the exported file to FCP ... does it still look washed out in FCP? 2) change your Quicktime Player preferences to "Enable Final Cut Studio Color Compatibility" ... does it still look washed out in Quicktime Player?
