FCP can't see any camera DV or HDV
We have FCP 6.04 running on latest version of Leopard. No matter what I cannot get it to see the cameras via Firewire. This wasn't much of problem until clean install from of Leopard.
Tried front and back ports on Quad Core MAC. Also, new problem. I stupidly changed the monitor/plaback settings in FCP to Full Main screen and we can't even see FCP when we click on app. How do we revert back?? Any help??

ctrl+u will give you the "standard view" in FCP. As far as the camera not showing up, do you have any external drives or peripherals plugged in via firewire 400? If so then unplug them all and try. Sometimes FCP gets confused if you have a bunch pluged in.
