Motion 3 Template Drop Zones Not Working In FCP6

I've created a fairly simple template in Motion 3 that consists of 4 drop zones arranged in a grid. I can open the template in FCP6 and add it to my timeline but all I see is black in my Canvas window.

In the Viewer's control tab I do see my 4 drop zone boxes however dragging in a video clip into any of the boxes does nothing...it simply doesn't react

The template works within Motion 3 itself while at the same time doing nothing in FCP 6.

What might I have done wrong?

Problem fixed by Motion or FCP Update

As this was a brand new install of Final Cut Studio 2 I had forgotten to download and install all the latest software updates...once I did so, viola!, it worked like a charm.
