Canon HF100 - 60i/30p Questions!
I have been looking at every link I can but I am still not clear how the camera shoots 30p. and how this will then work in my final cut pro 6.0.4.
Apparently, the camera shoots in 30p but it is still actually "wrapped" in 60i? Is this correct? I do not understand this. So, if I do shoot in 30p, what happens when I do the "log & Transfer" into Final Cut Pro and start to edit. Am I getting 30p? Also, some people mention having to do a "pulldown" to edit. Can you explain this? What is pulldown and do you have to do it to edit 30p from the Canon HF100 in Final Cut Pro? Can anyone EXPLAIN all this to me? Thanks! Larry |
