Old Apple Cinema Display with New MacPro...
I guess this doesn't work? Does anyone have any suggestions? or has anyone gotten this pair working together? Apparently the wire on the old cinema display (and when i say old i mean the one with the see through plastic around the edges, white) to work on an Nvidia 8800gt?

You probably need an ADC to DVI adapter which is $100 (ouch) from the Apple store.

I use the DVI --> ADC adaptor to connect my plastic/acrylic 23" display to my Mac Pro. Works fine.
