pixelating when dubbing to tape
FCP 6.04
CAM:AG-HPX500 Tape machine: Sony 1800 Kona Lhe card New camera, new problem. When using "print to tape/control M" function to dump to Beta SP I am getting artifacts that look like color bars blipping on the same shots on every tape. These artifacts do not show up in the timeline or when the same clips are played thru Qtime, This video was shot DVCPRO 50 SDI using the above camera. One other thing, when deleting the affected shot, the artifact still appears, at approximately the same spot on the time line. I have copied and pasted the video to several new timelines but the problem remains. I am now starting over from scratch with a new edit. But does anyone have any idea whats going on? |

Did you specify the print to tape quality in Final Cuts audio video settings? Check that it is "High"

10-4. Did that
After about the 5th new timeline everything went fine. I am still clueless. Maybe something to do with some RF interference. |
