QuickTime Reference Export in Final Cut Pro???
Coming from the Avid world, QuickTime reference is a big part of what I do. I just tried to do the same thing in a Final Cut (Studio 2) and noticed that exporting either "Using QuickTime Conversion" and "Export QuickTime" do not provide an option for this format. Am I missing something here?
Thanks, -C |

Not sure if this is what you need, but: If you export Quicktime movie there is a box "Make Movie Self-Contained". If that is unchecked your resulting QT movie will essentially be a QT reference file with dependencies on the source media. Hence the much smaller resulting file-size than if it were a discrete QT video.
