Audio Needs rendering when it shouldn't
Hey friends,
I"ve got a whole bunch of SD clips that were shot DVCPro and then captured and converted to ProRess using Compressor. I used the preset for Interlaced Material and all seemed good the video is the right size and the audio is 48kHz, however when I add them to a ProRess Sequence the audio needs to be rendered. The clip and the sequence have the exact same info in every column of the browser so I'm at a loss... any ideas? I already tried trashing prefs and that didn't help. TIA Nate

Yep
That was it Luke... I had left audio set to pass through, and somehow it ended up as Apple Uncompressed which is like 32bit floating point or something, so I just switched the audio in Compressor to enabled, then selected Linear PCM at 48kHz and 16bit... for anyone else who runs across the same thing.
