Compressor not Compressing!

When i "submit" things, and look at it it just says processing for 3 hours or so and i just usually cancel it after that, there is never any percentage shown or anything? I am using the dvd setting, but it doesn't seem to work with any of the settings! Any one have any ideas?

There will be no indication in Compressor of the progress of individual files. However, there will be an indication in the "Batch Monitor" app. Click on "Batch Monitor" to pop it up. Then you can view all the compressor files in progress.

It's counterintuitive, but for pro users, it makes sense as BatchMonitor allows you to coordinate render farms - multiple people working across multiple computers can all submit things to the render farm, and BatchMonitor can tell you where you stand in the total queue.

Have you clicked on "This Computer"?, then drilled down to the individual files? It should give you a progress bar then.
