Crazy FCP 6 Audio Glitch
Suddenly, whenever I play back sequences in Final Cut Pro, my audio is doing bizarre things. Generally what happens is my left channel plays back slower (pitch shifted) and slightly delayed from the right channel, but if I pause and play again it will play back fine until the playhead hits a new audio track, whereupon the same problem starts for that track. I haven't run any updates to FCP recently, and I'm totally at a loss as to how this arose.
FCP 6.0.4 The sequences in question are DVCPRO HD 720p24. Haven't tried any other formats. Anyone have any suggestions? This is driving me nuts!

Try restarting your computer. Simple, but sometimes all you need.

Try trashing preferences and see if that helps.

Trashing the prefs worked. Sort of embarrassed that I and my Apple employee roommate totally forgot to try that...
Thanks a million!
