16x9 on FCE

Hello forum.
I know I should read the 1052 page manual before dumping silly questions over here, but havenīt been able to figure this one out.

I have recorded video in 16x9 mode (25p PAL) with my Canon XL2, this camera is supposed to have a "native" 16x9 CCD. When I capture the video into FCE the video it is previewed squeezed in the 4x3-format. Everything in the frame looks much taller and thinner than viewed in 16x9. Is there a switch-button in FCE that I havenīt found yet, so I can preview and edit looking at the film in 16x9?

When I look at the captured film in Quicktime it looks just right (16x9).

Click under 'anamorphic' in the browser - for both shots and sequence.
